Train the Child in the way it ought to grow, and when it comes of age, the Child will never depart from the set part.
As simple as it sounds and looks, this statement from the Good book, offers a piece of gold nugget to parents, teachers and educators, when it comes to Child training and mentoring.
Humans are Not Machines, thus we don’t need Upgrades every month | Year | Season
Humans are not machines, and that means, with passing of age or time, we do not evolve into a bundle of mass that requires new sets of instructions and training.
The sun that rose during your father’s times will be the sun that will rise again and again for generations to come. The Tree that you saw growing up will as a Child will always be the trees that will stand firm even when your last grand child sets foot to play on ground.
The out come is always Certain and there is nothing Uncertain about it
This is Certainty and isn’t it wonderful, for we were told that our World is Uncertain and nothing around us is guaranteed. But the truth of the matter is this, you were told a lie. The lie called Uncertainty.
For, if you were to wake up every single day and for the next 6 months, and walk 3 miles, for sure, your body will show the effects of the work that you have put in. The truth of the matter would be so splendid that even your eyes wouldn’t believe the progress.
But there is nothing Rocket Science in that. The Truth is always simple, just that we humans always think and assume that Truth is complex, may be we were told that or better still, we were and are being Programmed.
But let us tell you this, Truth is the probably the Simplest of all things. If you put in the work, you will achieve the goals that you have set forward to achieve.
The Mind out to be Directed
The Blueprint of human though complex has it may look, has lucid ways to train to harness. But on the contrary, when the mind which is the source and the fountain of all creativity is left untamed or is directed in directions that are unwarranted, the Results will often lead the individual into paths of no return.
The consequences of wayward life and lackadaisical behavior will always end in poverty and want, like as night follows day, these trends will always follow those who do not heed to life’s instructions.
Look around you, all that you will see today is poverty and want. Most feel and believe that the world owes them their livelihood and will often resort to ways and means to get them by force.
So what are we talking here about? As parents and teachers and educators, you have the power to change a Child’s future. Especially if you are parent, you ought to take the responsibility of rightly directing your child’s delicate and moldable mind into a powerhouse of Creativity and Mission.
Grade 8, is a very important stage in a Child’s life. This is the time where they begin to appreciate things, they begin to realize the need to learn and to grow, a time where great visions can be sown.
Who made Alexander, great ?
But all of these are only possible with the right set of training. Alexander would’nt have become Alexander, if not for the training of Aristotle, and Aristotle wouldn’t have become Aristotle, if not for the training of Plato. So the bottom line is training. Training is the only measure that would easily separate the Wheat from the chaff.
Your child is the second opportunity that life offers you to do something great in this world. The great track superstar, Jesse Owens, while being born into poverty, raised in poverty and educated in poverty, saw nothing but poverty alone. But he went on to become the great Track star of all times that America has ever produced. None can or will equate or equal the feats that Jesse Owens had set under challenging and demanding situations, both for humanity and for the world.
On one account, a News reporter asked, Mr. Jesse Owen, the secret for his success. He replied thus, “we were physically poor but spiritually rich, my mother, day in and day out sowed in me greatness, motivated me that I was destined for greatness and greatness lied in me readily waiting to come out”. These were his words.
Today as parents, it is your duty to set standards and principles that you expect your child to grow up and follow. Remember, the best example to your child is you, set standards, become a hero, for when the time comes for your child to be interviewed, he/she will surely say,“ I am here is because of my Mom and Dad, who had nurtured in me the seed of Greatness”
